The Music of the Spheres
The Music of the Spheres, an idea created by Pythagoras thousands of years ago, proposes that each planet in our Solar System hums in a grand cosmic harmony.
What if that music was real? What if we could hear each sphere orbit around us in a grand hymn? Canticum Sphaerarum aims to answer these questions by translating the actual location of every celestial body in the solar system between July 20th 1969 - Dec 20th 1972, (the first and last Moon Landings) into music.
Cocreated by Jacob Souders
This is a binaural recording, made specifically to be listened to on headphones. The binaural format translates the surround sound effect from the original mixing environment to headphones. The recording will play over stereo loudspeakers but will lose some dimensionality.
Bear Plane Original Soundtrack
Take to the skies as a rocket-powered bear in Bearplane: a whimsical, action-packed adventure loosely inspired by the legendary tale of Wojtek the Bear.
Bear Essentials
Grudge to Bear
Bear Strike
Bear With It
Bearplane features a bright Dixieland Jazz inspired Soundtrack - emulating the compositional style of the popular music from Wojtek’s time.
Sean worked with his frequent collaborator Jacob Souders to write the soundtrack and many local musicians from Kansas City to bring the album to life.
Bear Essentials is a standard jazz tune stylistically - setting the stage tonally and melodically for the other pieces to explore.
Grudge to Bear slows things down with a ballet lead by a virtuosic trumpet solo.
Bear Strike and Bear With It bring things home with a roaring big band sound.
